This shawl is a triangular shape with slots along the wider end to weave the tip through. Shawl can be all one colour or striped lengthwise. The main feature of the shawl is short rows.

Once you decide on the length and width of your shawl or scarf, you will make a swatch to determine your gauge. The formula provides the method to calculate the number of stitches and number of rows and the placement of slots and increases to achieve your size.
I have used light fingering weight (100 grams) with a 6.5 mm hook for a small version and worsted weight (650 grams) with a 10 mm hook for an XL version.
