These mitts are great for stash busting! They are made with two strands of fingering weight held doubled, so depending upon the colors you choose to mix, you can make these gloves as loud and crazy or quiet and subtle as you wish. A pair requires 130 - 200 yards of color A and 130 - 200 yards (120 - 183 m) of color B.

Approximately 130 (162, 200) yards (120, 150, 183 m) of each color of yarn is needed, per pair.

Holding two strands together creates a fun and trendy tweed effect, plus it uses up twice as much of your leftover sock yarn. Yay! Or you could substitute one strand of DK weight, for about the same gauge.

Tweedle Dum mitts are available in three sizes. Unisex styling makes them great for everyone in the family. You can choose to add ribbing to the top or not, since the fabric will not roll. Sizes include: Teen 6-1/2 in (17 cm), Women 7-1/2 in (19 cm), Men 8-1/2 in (2 cm) around knuckles.

Both charted and written instructions are provided.

Special thanks to my test knitters: plainsimplegarak and 3secondfish. I appreciate their eagle eyes. ;)
