The shawl is worked top-down and is a one-piece, symmetrical knit. There are three sizes to choose from.

Orange shawl used needles size US 6 / 4mm
(S) – 45” top edge x 26” spine
(M) – 55” top edge x 32” spine (estimation)
(L) – 63” top edge x 42” spine

Mohair Glitter used needles size US 9 / 5.5mm with a shorter spine.
(S) – 58” top edge x 18” spine
(M) – 66” top edge x 25” spine (estimation)
(L) – 75” top edge x 35” spine (estimation)

This pattern will work with any kind of yarn and colours. A heavy worsted will create a lovely warm shawl for cold winter days, while a lace weight yarn will make a gauzy cover for a cool summer evening. Gauge is unimportant. Tension should not be too tight, or the cables will not show to their best.

Difficulty: advance beginner. cables, stockinette st, p2tog, k2tog
6 rows of pattern repeats; only 1 row of cables and 5 rows of stockinette st.

You can sell the finished shawl/shawlette. Please credit me as the designer. If not, that is fine too. Thank you for knitting my pattern.
