…a simple ribbed sock with a little twist to keep it interesting…

This pattern is knit from the top down. It’s easy to knit up and includes two different sizes, as well as directions for two different heel flaps - plain or with a twisted rib down each side.

The pattern starts with 2x2 rib for the cuff, then becomes twisted rib as you start the leg. The twisted ribs gradually stop on the front every few pattern repeats, starting with the center rib, so that by the time you reach the foot, the front of the sock is worked in k2p2 rib, while the back remains twisted rib. No cable needle is needed for working the twists.
