One skein + simple knitting = a fabulous quick gift!

The perfect stash buster knitting pattern that you will knit more than once.

Twister is a fun little cowl that you can knit up easily and quickly. Perfect for the gift knitting season ahead of us. You will have lots of time to knit one for yourself as well.

The twist is achieved at the end of the knitting and has a full step by step photo tutorial to make this as easy as possible. And it really is easy!

There are two versions for you to choose from and both are pleasure knitting for while watching TV or chatting in your local knit group.

I like to call it my “wine time” knitting.

Finished Measurements:
After blocking and stitching ends together: 15cm/6” height, 58.5cm/23” diameter.

Gauge:
Before blocking: 20 stitches x 27 rows = 10 cm/4” square in stocking stitch.

Yarn Used:
Both cowls are knit with Berroco Sesame, Worsted (9 wpi). 43% Wool, 39% Acrylic, 9% Cotton, 9% Nylon.
100 grams = 210 m/230 yds.

Cowl # 1. One skein colour # 7451 Pomelo (18 grams leftover).
Cowl # 2. One skein colour # 7448 Zen Garden (6 grams leftover).
The amounts of yarn used are based on my samples for the design but will depend on the yarn you choose, variations in yarn thickness of each colour, your personal gauge/tension and any changes made.

Needles and Supplies:
5 mm/US 8 circular needles 40 cm/16” long. Or size required to achieve gauge.
One stitch marker.
Tapestry needle.

Thanks to Berroco for yarn support and to my tech editor and test knitters.
