Typha Scarf
Typha is a long and shallow triangle that can be worn several ways: wrapped around your neck a few times for cozy volume, worn full length and open for drama, or looped into a simple knot for casual grace.
Garter stitch and an easily memorized knitting pattern help you build the base shawl quickly. The crochet edging is worked at the end, and can use a contrast colour for more impact (the shawl photographed for KnitScene used two different dyelots of the same colourway), or achieve a clean look by working the edging in the same yarn as the main section.
