This sock pattern was originally designed for Bleeping Socks For Gamers KAL 2018. It is inspired by the rhythm video game PaRappa the Rapper, where the player must follow the rhythm of the rap by pushing the buttons in time with the on-screen sequence of buttons. The pattern incorporates the dots and buttons of the display the player must follow.

Any fingering weight sock yarn may be used. The sock is designed to highlight speckle-dyed yarn, but it will work with solid or semi-solid yarns.

The pattern specifies three sizes and the foot length can be varied as required. The socks are knit toe-up and incorporate an integrated gusset and heel flap that doesn’t require stitches to be picked up. Features a linen stitch heel flap and Estonian gather stitches.

Pattern contains charts for each size. If printing, you can select only the page(s) needed.
