Urban Folk Mitts are inspired by traditional folk motives local to my part of the world. I translated them into a modern graphic design. Use your favorite color combinations to make it an outstanding accessory. Simple shapes and carrying just 2-colors at a time allow you to enjoy playing with stranded knitting and to try out new palettes.
These fingerless mitts are seamless and worked in the round, from cuff up with a thumb gusset. The pattern provides instructions for three sizes and two length versions.
The mitts are knitted with tweedy merino wool Soft Donegal Tweed Singles in fingering weight. You can use any other yarn in a similar yarn weight suitable for stranded knitting. The best thing is that this is a super quick and gratifying project! Why not knit another pair?

Finished measurements: 6.5 (7.5, 8.5)” / 16.5 (19, 21.5) cm finished palm circumference after blocking.
