This cozy, cabled cowl almost resembles a shawlette from the front. But since it’s a cowl, it stays put; no need to fuss with keeping it in place. The V-neck shape keeps you warm even when your neckline plunges. And the bulky weight yarn makes this a quick knit.

The cowl is knit back and forth. The cabled strips are joined to each other as you knit, so it is seamless and has the feel of something knit in the round. The reverse stockinette stitch borders added at the end are knit in the round, so circular needles are a must.
