This blanket pattern is inspired by The Velveteen Rabbit by Margery Williams. Worked from the center out, the flower garden body pattern grows out to a ruffled edging. Relatively simple to memorize, the pattern creates a classic baby blanket for a little one to cherish.

Finished Size: approx. 34” square (86 cm) after blocking.

Materials:
• Worsted weight yarn, such as Berroco Ultra Wool, 3 skeins, 657 yds (600 m)
• US Size 7 (4.5 mm) 40” (101 cm) or longer circular needle and DPNs (or size needed to obtain
gauge)
• US Size 5 (3.75 mm) DPNs for cast-on
• Stitch markers (2 different colors)
• Tapestry needle

Gauge: 20 sts = 4” (10 cm) in stockinette stitch before blocking, 18 sts = 4” (10 cm) after blocking
