This pair of mittens combines the shaping of the Inversion Mittens with the flap from the Chevron Mittens, giving you ease of knitting and convenience when you’re wearing them.

Gauge - 6 sts = 1 inch/2.5cm, worked in color work pattern from Chart 4, on US6/4mm needles
or size needed to obtain gauge.
Size - Women’s Medium
Finished Measurement- Mitten measures 8 inches/20.5cm around hand

Yarn - Universal Yarns Deluxe Worsted Superwash Yarn; 175 yd/160m to 100g/3.5oz. 100% superwash wool; #728 Pulp, 1 skein (MC), #730 Steel Cut Oats, 1 skein (CC).
Needles - Size 6 US/4mm 32” circular needle.
Notions - Waste yarn, tapestry needle.

NOTE ON SIZING: This pattern was designed to be bold and dramatic, so therefore spans the breadth of the hand. Adding or removing a repeat would change the size of the mittens by over
2in/5cm. If you want to change the sizing, I recommend going up or down a needle size. Make a swatch to make sure you like the density of the fabric before committing to the entire project. If the fabric is too dense, try a DK weight yarn. If it isn’t dense enough, try an aran or bulky weight yarn. If you substitute yarns, try to use animal fibers over plant fibers. Plant fibers like cotton tend to work up very differently than wool or alpaca, so your end result will be very different from the samples pictured in this collection.
