The Scappoose-Vernonia Highway between my house and Blue Moonland is a long and winding road, in a beautiful part of Oregon. You travel past farms and homesteads and up and down rolling hills. It’s really quite refreshing and inspiring. The idea for this shawlette first came to me as I drove that road, heading home with one of the first skeins of BFL Fingering that Tina dyed. Once I stopped driving and got started knitting, this simple yet geometric pattern just kind of knitted itself. The asymmetric shawlette is very wearable, and it’s an easy pattern to adjust, size-wise.

Skill level - Advanced beginner (yarn overs, increasing, cables).
Size/Finished measurements – One size fits most, and easily adjustable. See notes for details. 42” (middle side) x 44” (longest side) x 26” (shortest side).
