“The Vertex Cardigan combines construction and ornament with increases and decreases that create a complex, angular fabric with subtle texture. A single-ply merino/silk blend adds lush drape.”

Construction notes: “This cardigan is worked from the top down. The back is worked separately back and forth to the underarms, then stitches for the fronts are picked up along the back shoulders, and the fronts are worked separately to the underarms. The three pieces are then joined and worked back and forth in one piece to the lower edge.”

Stitches for the sleeves are picked up and worked top down to the finished length.
