This is a pattern for a wrap that features a very open lace stitch. Although it is made using sport weight yarn (and size 6 needles), because of the nature of the stitch, the wrap is not heavy. It is made using a true lace stitch, which means that there is no “purl-back” row. The pattern includes instructions for an optional crochet edging.

Skill Level: Intermediate - Intermediate + (assuming a basic knowledge of lace knitting).

The pattern for the stitch is both charted and written out line by line.

The wrap was expertly pattern tested by Barbara Robertson, who can be contacted at: Barb.Robertson@gmail.com, and is known on Ravelry as, NanaKnits4Us. The yarn used in the sample was Lorna’s Laces in colorway, Violet.
