These fingerless gloves are perfect for cold-weather activities that require some manual dexterity, like driving, using binoculars, riding a bike, or taking pictures. They have half-fingers and a mitten top that flaps up over the fingers; the thumb is completely covered. The extra-long cuffs can be turned up or worn long. The mitts are knit using worsted-weight yarn on small double-pointed needles to create a dense fabric. For additional warmth, you can line the mitten top, the thumb, and the palm of the hand with flannel. Little dots of hook-and-loop fastener hold the mitten tops to the body of the mitts. The pattern is written for a man’s size Medium (woman’s size Large.)
