Vesta Hat is a lovely, slightly slouchy hat knit seamlessly bottom up. It is worked in interesting textured lace pattern that gives the hat romantic and feminine look.

This pattern was created in collaboration with Lanivendole, an independent Italian company that produces ethically sourced and traceable yarn.

Size: one size, to fit 54-56 cm (21-22”) head circumference;
Measurements: approx. 25 cm/ 10” long, blocked and measured from bottom to top;

Yarn: A Stormy Blend Woolen DK 70% Brogna Wool, 30% Alpaca; 220 meters (241 yards)/100g (3.53 oz): 1 skein; samples shown in Rame and Luce colorways;
Or: approx. 165 m/ 180 yards of DK weight yarn;

Gauge: 20 sts and 28 rounds in stockinette stitch to 10 cm/ 4”, blocked; one lace pattern repeat is 6.5 cm/ 2.6” wide and 6.5 cm/ 2.6” tall;

Needles: 3.25 mm/ US3 and 4 mm/ US6 40 cm (16”) circular needles or needle size to obtain the gauge and/or set of 4 mm / US6 double-pointed needles with sharp tips or needle size to obtain the gauge;

Other: one stitch marker, tapestry needle to weave in loose ends, crochet hook (optional);
