This sock was designed for the Nov 2011 Sockdown in the Sock Knitters Anonymus group. Considering what a struggle the initial conception was, and looking at the monster I created, I think it’s only fitting that this sock was heavily inspired by Mary Shelley’s book “Frankenstein, or the Modern Prometheus”.

Very well suited to use up those skeins that are just not big enough for a full pair of socks.

Just the usual word of warning: these were not test knitted by anyone but myself. Any corrections, clarifications or questions are always welcome…

And for the extra-impatient: I would strongly recommend that you read the whole pattern through before you cast on - there are various options, and you may need all the information before you make a decision.
