Beautiful English style cardigan in 6 sizes from birth to 6 years. Lovely easy fit raglan shaping, with a touch of pretty lace. Instructions given for both 4ply (fingering) and 8ply (DK) weight yarns. Plain and striped variations included.

4ply (fingering weight) I used Dale Baby Ull
Main colour (MC)
125(,125, 150, 200, 225, 300) grams
390(450, 505, 650, 775, 955) metres
Lace: 25 (25, 25, 25, 25, 50, 50) grams same yarn as MC in cream.

8 ply (DK weight) I used Naturally merino et soie
Main colour (MC)
100 (150, 150, 200, 225, 250 ) grams
265(305,350, 440, 530, 650) metres
Lace: 25 (25, 50, 50,50,50) grams same weight as MC in cream
Needles:
4 ply: 3.75 mm for lace, 2.75 mm (US 2) and 3.25 mm (US 3) circular needles, length is not important as you are working back and forth.
8 ply: 4.5 mm for lace, 3.75 mm circular, 4 mm circular

All sizes: 4 stitch holders, tapestry needle. 4 stitch markers.
Notions: 1 metre 75mm (1 inch wide) ribbon

Gauge: check gauge over stst
4 ply = 28 sts x 36 rows = 10cm
8 ply = 20 sts x 28 rows = 10cm
