This pattern is available for $4.00.

This is a pattern for a crocheted necklace that is a simple design of leaves and leaf clusters. The leaves and leaf clusters are evenly arranged around the necklace. A button and simple buttonhole act as the closure with delicate leaf clusters adorning the back, making the necklace stunning with short hair or an updo.

The pattern is a 10 page PDF illustrated with many photographs including step-by-step photographs of my leaf and leaf cluster designs.

Skills needed: chain stitch, single crochet, double crochet, triple crochet and double triple crochet. Sewing on a button. Fastening off and weaving in ends (I give suggestions on how best to do this).

I use standard American crochet terms throughout the pattern.

Materials: crochet thread (size 10 cotton), button (about ¼”), crochet hook size 7 or size to crochet comfortably and to obtain the correct gauge, needle (for weaving in ends and sewing on the button)

The yardage needed is an estimate. Aunt Lydia’s, DMC or similar, easy to find crochet thread work well and one skein/spool provides enough thread to make many necklaces.

This design can also be worked with a larger hook and a thicker yarn as practice or to create a scarf or belt.
