My Vines of Yggdrasil Fingerless Gloves pattern is great for beginners who haven’t yet done cables. Cables are easier than they look! One of the things that I don’t like about most gloves is that they look so plain on the palm (back) side, so when I designed these, I made sure that both sides were textured and beautiful. They are worked flat, so they are the perfect beginner gloves.

When you purchase this pattern, it will come with two PDF files. One for the written version, and one for the charted version!

Any worsted weight yarn will work, although wool yarn tends to make more defined cables. The purple gloves pictured are made with Wool of the Andes worsted yarn in Bouquet Heather, and the turquoise gloves pictured are made with Lion Brand Wool Ease yarn.
