Half of the purchase price for this shawl pattern will be going to breast cancer research. I know times are rough and if you cannot afford to purchase the pattern please send me a message, I’m sure there is something that can be done. Thank you all and please let me know if there are things or techniques in my pattern writing that need tweaking. Still new to this but loving it. I am willing to donate my time to make one if you pay for the yarn and shipping.
Each element of this shawl there for a reason. I knew I wanted a strong spine as any breast cancer fighter has. I put hearts in it for their amazing heart and for family, friends, doctors and nurses that are helping them through this battle. The stripes are to take away the pain, fear and sickness and to bring in health, happiness, and a cure. The ribbons are to remind everyone one that the battle will never truly be over until this disease is preventable. The ruffle edge because we all need a little frilly. I made this with Caron Simply Soft as I know natural fibers can be itchy, some are allergic, and I wanted something that was easy to care for.
