I have tried out many hook case patterns but never found one that was quite what I needed. Finally, I decided to design one with all of the things that I had learned and all the things that I wanted from a hook case in mind. First of all, I used wool because I had found that acrylic and cotton tend to be too slippery to hold the hooks well. I included enough space for quite a large hook collection or for a modest sized one with space left over for sock DPNs (for the bi-craftual among us). There is also a pocket with a flap for notions and a place to tuck your pattern printouts. I used a wave pattern on the outside of the case to add interest and texture.
