Waves is a slightly more than semicircular shawl that is knit from the neck edge downward.
Short rows form the neck rounding, followed by regular increases in the body of the shawl.
It can easily be shortened or lengthened by knitting more or less pattern sections.

Size: height 21” from neck edge to lower edge (washed and blocked)

Yarn: Squoosh Fiberarts Merino Cashmere : Sport, (247yd/4oz), or other heavy DK, light worsted yarn
Color A: natural 2 skeins (500 yds)
Color B: coal 1 skein (250 yds)
Shawl can be knit with finer or thicker yarns – however the size will change accordingly

Needle: US 7 - 4.5 mm circular needle, or needle size to match your yarn
Notions: 7 stitch markers
Gauge: 17 sts – 24 rows / 4” (10cm) stretched.

The pattern is fully written out and also has a section with brief instructions for more advanced knitters who can work from a comprehensive overview.

Thank you very much to ibensb for test knitting and very thorough feedback!
