Wavy Short Rows Bookmark
This piece is a fun way to play with short rows! Worked back and forth with short rows in every section, your knitting switches between diagonal directions, leaving you with a slightly curved rectangle piece of garter stitch.
There’s just one pattern, but it can be worked in different weights at different gauges to make different sized bookmarks.
Because of the short rows pattern, these look great in variegated yarns; because of the garter stitch fabric thickness, the bookmarks will function best in a fine weight, like a sock yarn. This is a perfect project for using up leftover bits of multi-colored sock yarn!
