The WEBS 40th Anniversary Crochet Blanket eBook from Valley Yarns is a collection of 20 afghan squares designed, written, and crocheted by the wonderful employees here at WEBS! We chose 4 colors of Valley Yarns Northampton to work with, required a 12” square, and gave everyone a theme of “What’s The Best Thing You’ve Made?” We wanted to show off how WEBS has enabled each of us to do our best work. Then we brought all the squares together with a ruby red color in honor of the ruby anniversary.

It’s been so amazing working with all the talented people who work here at WEBS. From all levels of experience, each square is a unique representation of the role of knitting and crocheting in our lives, and it’s stunning to see them all together.

In this ebook, the patterns for each square are given in the order they’re assembled, not necessarily in order of skill level, so we encourage the crocheter to read through the book and work the squares in the order they most prefer. Since tension varies from person to person, we provided the hook size each designer used to make their square, making it even more essential to check the gauge on every square to ensure they’re all the right size. Whether you work all the squares as written or add a few of your own, we’re so proud to have you join us in celebrating the anniversary of America’s yarn store with your own creations to cherish.
