Whirligig is a light-hearted and whimsical scarf knit with alternating colours of Noro Taiyo yarn. Knit in the round as a long tube, “resting” yarns are carried up along the inside of the scarf so there are, miraculously, just a few ends to sew in at the end of all those stripes. The profusion of colour will soothe your eyes and brighten your mood on bleak winter days and the double-thickness fabric will keep you warm and toasty.
Please note, this is not an original pattern – various versions of tubular scarves abound on Ravelry. This is simply a summary of what we
did to achieve this particular effect.
