Choose to use ‘traditional’ owl colors or go outside the box and make this a one-of-a-kind fun, whimsical rug or hanging. The ‘abstract’ design works great for any color palette!

This pattern was named on a whimsy! My grandson is basically non-verbal (he is special needs). We have worked for years on making ‘animal sounds’. When I was working the sample of the rug I would occasionally ask him ‘What sound does an owl make?’. His version of ‘hoot hoot’ actually sounds like ‘whoot whoot’….hence ‘Whooty’!
