Quick project! Fingerless mittens with side thumb. Perfect for berry-picking, but can also be worn year-round!
Can be knit on dark or light background.

Materials:
fingering-weight yarn: 50g/200m of background color; 40g/160m of green. More colors can be added to the cuff.
Some red yarn to embroider berries.
Circular needles size US 0-2, depending on your gauge / size needed.
Some scrap yarn or stitch holders for the thumb stitches.
Tapestry needle

Gauge and size: 35 x 40 = 4” for size small/medium;
Mitts are 9.5 X 19cm. The size is adjustable with gauge.
