From the pattern description:

Inspired by a particularly beautiful cloudy day here in the Willamette Valley in Oregon, I chose a creamy color of an alpaca-silk blend yarn for this garter-stitch cardigan that drapes at an angle when worn. The collar is needle felted in layers with merino-silk roving and then closed with a pin.

Notions:

  • Stitch holders or waste yarn
  • Tapestry needle
  • Blocking wires
  • Louet Merino/Silk Top (80% merino, 20% silk): .5 ounces natural
  • Clover felting tool
  • Two or three 36-gauge felting needles (note from author: While strong, these needles do tend to break, so it’s a good idea to have extras on hand.)
  • 9 x 12 x 2” foam felting block
  • Decorative pin for closure
