The Windows of Moss Stitch Socks are the perfect step up from a simple stockinette-stitch sock. They’re worked from the top down with a standard heel flap, and the textured pattern is easy to memorize and completely made up of knit and purl stitches.

Difficulty Easy

Finished Size 7.25 (9.75)“ foot circumference and 9.5 (11)” long from back of heel to tip of toe; foot length is adjustable. Socks shown measure 7.25”.

Yarn Brown Sheep Company Wildfoote Luxury Sock (75% washable wool, 25% nylon; 215 yd / 1.75 oz): #04 elderberry (dark blue; MC), 2 balls and #22 peasant blue (light blue; CC), 1 ball.

Needles Size 0 (2 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
