Winnetou Baby Moccasins
by Alma Mahler
When I was a child growing up in Germany, there were some very popular novels about a Native American Indian called “Winnetou”. I loved these stories and my brother and I used to dress up as Red Indians.
Here is a pattern for super cute moccasins, inspired by the hero of the story: Winnetou !
It is knit flat and has an embroidered details along the seam and instep.
The pattern comes in 3 sizes for babies 0-6, 6-12 and 12 to 24 months old.
You will need 50 g DK (Light Worsted or 8 ply) wool yarn in main colour remnants in contrast colours as well as 4mm knitting needles
