This is a pattern for a DK AND/OR a Sock weight knit gloves or mitts worked in the round and using the Fair-Isle knitting technique.

GLOVES/MITTS- sock
yarn:
sock/fingering weight yarn
approx yarn amounts (sample shown in Knit Picks Alpaca Cloud):
MC - 200yds (182m)
CC - 15yds (14m)
needles:
2.25mm (us no 1) DPNs, 6in/15cm, set of 4
2.75mm (us no 2) DPNs, 6in/15cm, set of 4
Some knitters work stranded and one-coloured at different gauges. Change needles as needed to keep gauge the same throughout.
gauge:
32 sts and 32 rows = 4 in/10 cm over stranded stockinette on 2.75mm
approximate size:
palm circ - 7 - 7.5 in/18 - 19 cm
Change needles/yarn to adjust size.
