This shawl is so pretty. I loved using the Arcane Fibre Works gorgeous fingering weight in color Winter Wonderland for the first time (not the last, I’m sure!). Their colors are amazing and the yarn is smooshy and soft and blocks nicely. There is a deep bottom lace portion, worked from a large, easy to read chart. I also have included written directions for the chart for those who don’t like working from charts.

The lace is not too difficult for the advanced beginner and there are full instructions for the process of the wraps and turns in the crescent shaping. You will need to know how or learn to co, bo, k, p, k2tog, ssk, yo, s2kpo, c4b, c4f, and w&t. All are explained in the abbreviations included in the pattern.

This feminine shawl is large and drapey, big enough to easily wear for that fashionable warmth we all crave this time of year. The lace is gorgeous and is so lovely with easy cables thrown in for more texture.
