A cold snap, such as we have experienced recently, is a reminder that the end of the warm weather is near — so the making of winter undies should be under way. The lightest frock will not show a wrinkle over this dainty set comprising vest and knickers or panties.

Use two-ply shrink-resisting wool, of which you will need four balls for the vest, three balls lor the panties, and four balls for the knickers. A yard of narrow ribbon for the shoulder straps and 1½ yards of narrow elastic are also required.

To fit 32-34 inch bust, use Nos. 10, 12 and 13 needles;
for 36-38 inch, use Nos. 9, 11 and 12;
and for 40-42 inch, use Nos. 8, 10 and 11.

For the OS [Out Size: larger] fitting, make longer than is required; the extra length will be taken up by the fullness.
