This shawlette begins with a vintage lace pattern (published in Woolco Knitting and Crocheting Manual, 1916) which has been charted and written in today’s knitting abbreviations. The lace is worked lengthwise and knits very fast. After 30 “points” have been worked the knitter picks up stitches along the top of the lace and works a crescent shaped shawl, using short rows - but without “wraps,” which I hate doing!

Uses slightly over 1 skein of Cascade Heritage and US #4 (3.5mm) needles
