This is the cover project on Knit Today Magazine, No. 56, February 2011, Wrap Up Warm supplement. The simplest possible garter-stitch scarf; suitable for beginners. There is only one pattern in this supplement.

Required: 5 or 6 x 100g balls of the recommended yarn; 8mm needles.

There is some confusion in the pattern regarding the recommended yarn:

(a) In the yarn requirements box it says “Rowan purelife British sheep breeds chunky” in steel grey Suffolk shade (shade 954), which is what it looks like in the photo, but -

(b) in the yarn detail box it says “Rowan cocoon”.
