ERRATUM - for the w+t! after place the yarn to the back! slip the stitch back to the left needle before turning.

Wrap as a scarf or shawl - either way the reversible squishy garter stitch and lace make it fantastic.

Knitted sideways, but with wrapped short rows to keep it fantastic:

  • no unwanted bulk at the neck edge
  • nice pointy ends (not square as you can get with a standard sideways construction)

Easy and fun to knit - just as easy to wear.

Drape over both shoulders
Fling over one shoulder
Wrap around - once ? twice ?

The pattern has photos to show you how to “read your stitches” - which will make it a great portable project.

Stiches used:

kfb
yarnover
k2tog

wrap and turn (but you don’t have to pick up the wraps, so this is very easy; can be done by a beginner knitter)

purl - but very very few (only one single purl stitch every 4 rows) for those who don’t like purling.
