These wristlets or cuffs peep out from under your sleeves for extra warmth or for a bit of frilly fun at the wrist. We love them for reading in bed, when the sleeves of our jammies fall “up” our arms. Or at the computer, when our mouse-wrist wants a koozie. Or for the layered look without the layered bulk.

The easy-to-follow braided cables pattern makes you look like a knitting wizard. Choose to frill-up your wristlets with a pretty little ruffle, using simple knit-(or purl)-front-and-back increases. Or keep it simple with standard, no-nonsense ribbing.

The pattern is one-size, with tips for easily adjusting either length or circumference. You’ll need about 1 to 1-1/2 ounces of any light fingering yarn.
