The idea for this shawl materialized while I was winding the skeins on das Autobahn… on June 9 or so.( I may delay getting my driver’s license renewed… the passenger seat is conducive to knitting)

• knit sideways in one piece
• short-row leaves
• work only 1 colour at a time
• only 4 yarn ends to fasten
• gauge unimportant
• variable sizing
