This sideways knit garter stitch cowl uses short rows to shape it into a crescent shape that curves in a lovely way around the neck. The purple version uses Empress and Bedazzle. The green version uses 2 different yarns, Beaded Silk Light for the top edging and Ensemble Light held double for the bottom edging. It is a great stashbuster since it only uses partial skeins of each yarn and you can make it as long or short as you like. I used less than 1/2 a skein of Beaded Silk Light (about 80 yards or so) and only 50 grams of the Ensemble Light (it comes in 80 gram skeins)
