For awhile I have wanted to make one of these from a long color repeat yarn! It isn’t a really soft wool, but the colors are subtle and pretty. Two days at a conference should give me a good bit of time for plain garter stitch knitting!

I am enjoying the knit and thinking about how it would work using different numbers of stitches in the triangles. Understanding the structure of this scarf is going to add to my repertoire of techniques! I also like the version that has a different lace pattern in every triangle and may do that one some time. I have an extra skein of the orange linen laceweight that I used for my mom’s Josie Vest…

Used an entire skein--a hazelnut sized ball is all that is left. I have ten triangles rather than the eight in the pattern. I wouldn’t mind if it were longer for neck wrapping, though!
