I started this project as part of a knit-along, but ended up making it on my own. I got stuck in the pattern only once, just was not sure what the intent was, and Kate Gilbert’s assistant was very helpful. I just finished it a couple of weeks ago, in time to wear it to a Crazy Aunt Purl book signing in Seattle. I worked on it for about 6 months, and I’m very proud that it fits the human form, let alone mine, as this is my very first sweater. It was a great pattern, very easy to read and the construction is very well-planned, and I highly recommend it.
