Notes

This started out as a Philosopher’s House Sock, but I hated the messy-looking pattern on the instep.

Notes for 2nd sock:

  • Turkish CO — 6 sts
  • 6-point star toe, increasing to 60 sts
  • k39 rnds; moss st arch expansion to 89 sts; add 4 wing sts each side
  • plain heel turn (12 unwrapped sts), flap in heel st
  • moss st and stocking st pattern on leg
  • 10 rnds of wavy garter
  • modified conventional cast-off in purl

I’m now on my fourth attempt to find a suitable pattern for this yarn. Cables didn’t do the yarn justice, so I’m going with a simple moss stitch on the instep to highlight the rich shades. I love the colour so much.
