Ehhhh… between gauge issues and preference changes in the decade+ since I bought this pattern… I’m just not feeling it. Nothing against the pattern - I’m just looking for something different. I maybe should have realized that sooner. It should not take over a year to swatch for a sweater! Time to switch it up.

Planning Phase
Errata
The link on the Ravelry pattern page leads to a 404 at Knit Picks, but the Knit Picks pattern page errata link is active. The single-pattern PDF copy in my Knit Picks library is dated 6/11/2019 with a new (relative to the copy I downloaded eons ago when I first bought the pattern and yarn) “Best of Knit Picks” banner, and incorporates all the errata listed from Knit Picks (as of August 2024, last errata entry was 09/13/2017).

I’m going through Rav project pages to confirm, and even the one last error ejchristian86 mentioned for chart row 128 has been corrected. I’m not 100% sure if the back length issue lorencehamstrong called out is still there, but I will follow-up on that as I knit.

Ease and Swatching
Pattern doesn’t have any ease recommendations. Based on other project comments, I’m going to aim for ~2” of negative ease. Assuming I meet gauge, based on the schematic I will want to start with size B for hips and waist, and decrease to a bit smaller than size A for the bust. Size A is near spot-on for the arms, though I may add ~1” in length.

Here’s to hoping I meet row gauge for a change - this pattern looks like a pain to adjust lengths for given all the shaping inside the cable panel!
