Wanted to use all of the fingering weight sample skeins of “Blue Andie” from two different dying workshops all spliced and wound into what folks are currently calling a ‘magic ball’. I decided to combine it with colours left over from my first “Camille”
I’m following Marylene Lynx’s pattern but the ribbed section is less and the colour changes are different because of adjustments that I’ve made to compensate for the changing colours of my magic ball.

All over but the blocking: after washing I decided to put it in the dryer on a really, really low setting for about 10 min because it was starting to be too stretched out and there was no way I’d have the space to block the points.
After pulling it out of the damp drier it came to me: block the points by hanging the almost completely dry shawl from my clothes line, folding it in half and hanging it from the points…so far it looks like it’s working ;).
