The provisional cast-on method is brilliant.

If you’re printing on 8.5 x 11” paper instead of A4, be sure that the “shrink” or “fit to page” option is selected when you print.

I originally started this with madeleinetosh tosh sock, but decided that although I loved the yarn and loved the pattern, I didn’t like them together - the yarn was too textured for the stitch pattern to show up well. I frogged this to use the yarn for Atalanta Sideways, and will restart this project using malabrigo laceweight.
