I’m finding double-knitting so tedious. I’ve done a few rows every day or so and finally completed most of the pattern.
Got to row 17 or so and realized I had made a massive mistake back in row 12. So had to rip back and start again.
Update: 11/12/2012
Unfortunately, once I reached the shoulders I realized I had made a severe error. I had such a difficult time casting on, I hadn’t realized that I had done the last two stitches incorrectly for the even rows. I now have a stripe on the right for both sides. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to do what the pattern states. I thought it was okay, but when it came time to do the shoulders, I realized I cannot get that stripe above and below the slingshot to work correctly. I think the only way I can salvage the bib is to omit the stripes..

It lives. I was inspired to finally finish this project for the Ravellenic games.
Took a night to figure out how I did the edges. I see now how I did then wrong originally. Got a little mixed up with the whole yarn in front/back business.
Got the bib finished and bound off. Now I just need to figure out the I cord neck.
Originally this bib was for one of my nephews. In the time since I started this project, I now have two more nieces.

Finished after over 5 years. Now I have my stitch holders back, lol.
Not even close to perfect. Definitely a learning experience. Trying to work out a better way to weave in ends than duplicate stitch.
First time with the i cord bind off. I didn’t really understand the directions on setting up the neck opening before starting the i cord, so I did the best I could.
