Notes

Modified to make lace ‘inserts’ by adding yo/k2tog on every 6th row (WS? RS?)… Needed to start decreases/increases on opposite end for other mitt or else lace won’t be the same, so a little trickier. Overall, nice effect!

Still loving the cool factor of this pattern!

2nd mitt not exactly the same as the 1st… one less lace insert in swirl pattern… but has extra garter ridges to make up for it. Also had to re-do last bit because I ended up with 4 extra stitches on one side (maybe forgotten decreases in that part of the pattern?) and a dropped stitch, which I fudged closed with a quick stitch. Probably won’t do this again - took about twice as much time to complete all together - at least for selling purposes… not much increase in ‘value’ for the exta labor, alas. :D
