Used a fingering and a sport weight yarn. I think it worked great! Stockinette portions worked in the fingering other than the last 6 rounds at the top..and the stockinette worked after the first yo, k2tog section for the picot. and the sport weight used for the lace sections.

UPDATE
brought this back out to finish it up. It will complete my 12in13 goal in the FGF The Scarf Group, and I just know it is going to be cozy on my neck. The only problem…which cowl do I wear on which day…there are so many great ones..it makes it hard to decide…lol

Recipe
In a 9x13 baking dish…place 8 cups very hot water..place item in water. Dissolve 2pkts cherry kool aid in about 10 ozs water, add this to the dish. Then kept rolling piece until all dye was absorbed.
Wasn’t happy with the color, so then dissolved 2pkts grape flavor aid in 6 ozs water, and added that. Again, kept rolling piece until all dye was absorbed.
