July 22:
Pattern received.

July 30:
Cast-on. Finished section 1. Halfway through section 2. Using hanspun as colour A, Acadia as yarn B. Since my yarn is DK ish weight, I’m going up 1 size of needle, using 4mm instead of 3.75mm.

August 5
I just reached the end of section 5. I still have 44g - 106 yards of colour A and 29.5g - 87 yards of colour B. I will work a few more garter st rows then will bind off.

Update: I had enough yarn for 22 repeats of rows 1-4 in section 5. Then bound off the shawl with a 4 st I Cord bind off using colour A.
